Singapore's best rooftop cocktail bars: Mr Stork at the Andaz Hotel

Updated: Mar 20, 2021

Mr Stork rooftop cocktaio bar, Andaz Hotel Singapore

A great perk of living in Singapore is that there is no shortage of rooftop bars to enjoy a sunset drink with a view. One of the newest rooftop arrivals in town is Mr Stork, sitting atop the 39th floor of the Andaz Hotel. This bar visit was a midweek breather after a busy few days working. It was exactly what we need, with the real perk of the bar being its secret rooftop garden to enjoy a quiet chat with friends.

If you've never been to the area, before heading up we'd recommend to take a walk around the Duo building. The architecture alone is a sight not to be missed.

The Appeal of Mr Stork at the ANDAZ Hotel Singapore:

As Mr Stork only takes walk-ins, we arrived by 6pm to ensure we got a seat in time for sunset at around 7pm. Initially we were seated in a small crowded area overlooking city. While the view was nice, the real delight was taking a walk around the back of the bar only to find a large and hidden garden space. Just a short walk behind the bar area we were treated to a private oasis, an ideal spot for an evening with friends or romantic date. Quiet tables were surrounded by a lush green garden and little teepees to give a 'glamping' feel to the space' If only we found this spot initially.

Mr Stork's at the ANDAZ Hotel Singapore's Cocktails:

We opted for the signature cocktails, the Watermelon, a sweet and refreshing gin based cocktail and the Rhubarb, made of Rhubarb puree, lemon and strawberry juice, sparkling wine and vodka. My personal preference was the Watermelon. We also ordered truffle fries as a pre dinner snack which we would recommend.

Getting to Mr Stork ANDAZ Hotel Singapore:

Mr Stork can be found at Level 39 of the Andaz Hotel, 5 Fraser Street.

The bar is open Sundays to Thursdays, 5pm to midnight; Fridays to Saturdays, 5pm to 1am
