About Us
OUR STORY.
Firstly thank you for taking the time to read our travel guides!
WHO WE ARE:
We are a married couple from opposite sides of the world. We met in Singapore and got married in Bali in 2019. In March 2020 relocated back to Australia as a detour on our way to the USA. We now live in New York City.
OUR AIM:
We want to help inspire others to see the world in just a weekend! We want to make short break travel easy though sharing our travel guides and itineraries focused USA, Australia & Beyond.
Danielle
My love of travel started with my first overseas trip to Japan. From there it never stopped, and I became fixated on the idea of leaving Australia and living around the world and exploring. I studied international business to make that happen. I've since lived, worked and studied in the UK, Singapore and now the USA. I spent +10 years working in travel and now get to work in tech and events in NYC while running this blog and exploring at the same time. Getting to share our travels and build this travel community to help others dreaming of living abroad and wanting to explore has been one of the most fulfilling things I've done.

I've been travelling and moving my whole life. I'm originally from England and I've since grown up and lived in many countries including Singapore, Dubai, Wales, Brazil, China and more recently Australia and the USA. My career has seen me working as a marine engineer around the world. I enjoyed hopping around Asia on weekends with Danielle, learning what life in Australia was like and now living in NYC and starting a new career in tech.
