Singapore cheap and delicious eats: Koh Grill Sushi Bar

Koh Grill Sushi

I (Danielle) am being 100 percent honest when I say, I didn't even eat Sashimi until I discovered Koh Grill Sushi on the 4th floor of Wisma Atria, Orchard Rd. I found it all thanks to a very close friend of mine, and I could not be more grateful. Without her, I would not have tried half of the dishes that have now become all time favourites.

We love this place and visit at least once every two weeks, so we are going to share with you our top picks for dishes to order. There's also always an epic queue so we are also going to let you in on a little secret to avoid it.

The food at Koh Grill Sushi bar and restaurant:

It's the reason we come to Koh Grill! the sushi is delicious! And cheap. We spend around $70 for 2 people, but we eat ALOT. Below are our top picks for orders. I think we get judged ever time by the wait staff because of how much we order.

2 portions of salmon sashimi (each comes with 5 pieces and for only $6)

1 portion of avocado maki (6 pieces for about $3)

1 chicken meatball yakitori stick ($2)

1 chicken heart yakitori stick ($2 - Andrews choice, I'm not a fan but he loves it)

(Another favourite of ours is the Foie Gras Yakitori sticks, but they are a bit more expensive)

Then we top all this off with Koh Grill Sushi's most renowned dish, the Shiok Maki. Filled with Unagi eel (don't be off put by this, it is amazing and much better than their prawn option). It is topped with salmon and the most delicious cream cheese. Each plate comes with 8 pieces. To be honest this is so good I could eat 2 portions to myself (but I haven't done that before).

The Queue at Koh Grill sushi bar:

It seems not many people know this, as there's always a massive queue to eat at Koh Grill, but they take reservations. You can text their number listed and make a reservation. We come often enough it's saved in my phone.

Getting to Koh Grill:

Koh Grill is located at 435 Orchard Road, #04-21 Wisma Atria Shopping Centre, 238877

It is open daily from 11.30am to 10pm.

The number: 9180 3805

Nearest MRT is Orchard. If taking a taxi to get there we recommend using the app Grab (for a first time discount use our referral code GRAB 1HU0ZBZO)
